Mr. Wilcox utilizes his long-standing experience in the entertainment industry as a backdrop for his work with record labels, artists and even professional athletes.  With nine chart records of his own, Mr. Wilcox has an intimate understanding of the issues surrounding contracts, artist development, promotions, and endorsements.  He currently represents some DFW-based recording companies that are gaining national attention as independent labels.  Additionally, he is active in entertainment litigation in the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Wilcox also practices regularly in the areas of Wills and Trusts, business formations, real estate and commercial banking litigation and even does some criminal defense work, with significant experience in the areas of minor in possession, minor consumption, possession of controlled substances and family violence.

Mr. Wilcox is married, has two daughters and a granddaughter.  He enjoys sports and the time he gets to spend in the gym.  He was the 2nd Runner up in EAS’s Body for Life challenge in 2003.  A noted tenor player, he also plays guitar and does front-of-house sound engineering for his church, First United Methodist Church, Irving, TX.  When he’s up to his eyeballs in litigation, he wishes he had a bass boat and one less cell phone!
